Hunnicutt to be Inducted into ENMU Athletics Hall of Honors

PORTALES, N.M.— After a highly successful basketball career at Eastern New Mexico University, Jamaal Hunnicutt will find himself center stage once again in next weekend with Eastern New Mexico University Athletics. The former Greyhound star will be one of seven to be honored with induction to the ENMU Athletics Hall of Honors.

Hunnicutt garnered second-team all-region honors following the 2003 and 2004 seasons and was a two-time, First Team All Lone South Conference South Division choice in those same years. In the 1998-99 season, he recorded the only on-record triple double by an ENMU basketball player. During the 2003 season, he led the Hounds to a 20-9 record and a berth in the NCAA Championship tournament.

Currently, Hunnicutt teaches eighth-grade history at Alice Johnson Junior High School, in Humble, Texas.
