Zia Soccer Topped by the Hilltoppers

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Sophomore forward
Brook Serrano (Los Lunas, N.M.) helped ease the Zia's 1-5 loss with a goal in the 65th minute. The Hilltoppers struck early with a goal from Jordan Ynostrosa in the 13th minute. Following the 18 yard shot, St. Edwards took a commanding lead including two goals in a row by Kelly Servage.
Freshman
Andrea Lister (Albuquerque, N.M., Manzano High School, Elite FC) started her collegiate soccer career with the assist to Serrano.
Zias travel to University of Southwest on Tuesday September 7th. On Sunday September 12th is the Zia home opener against Ft. Lewis College at noon.
