SEATTLE, WASH. —

She poured in a career-best 15 points, grabbed four rebounds, blocked a shot, and had a steal. Concordia took the lead for good 1:42 into play on a trey from Brianna Smith. Eastern pulled within a single point twice, with the final time coming on an
Eliza Martinez free throw with 5:46 left in the opening quarter to make the score 10-9. The Cavaliers exploded on an 11-1 run and held a 21-13 lead after 10 minutes of play. The Hounds pulled within nine points on two occasions in the second quarter, but could come no closer as Concordia pulled away for the win.
ENMU held a 42.1-41.8 percent edge in shooting percentage, but the Cavaliers enjoyed a 42-32 lead in rebounding.
Kassandra Harris poured in 14 points, while
Briana White chipped in with nine. Martinez grabbed six rebounds, while
Miranda Moore dished out three assists. McKenna Daly paced CU with 20 points and nine rebounds.
The Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team will resume play on Monday, December 28, with an exhibition contest at The University of Texas-El Paso. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7 p.m. MT.
