COMMERCE, TEXAS — After it was decided that the field at Texas Woman's University was unplayable for Sunday's Lone Star Conference match, the Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team (2-4-1; LSC 1-1) played its second straight contest at Lion Field.
Tori Hendrickson connected on a penalty kick for the game-winning goal, 28:34 into play to lift the Greyhounds to a 2-0 victory over the Pioneers (4-3; LSC 0-2).
The win moved Eastern to 6-10-1 overall against TWU and snapped a three-game skid in the series. It also was the second time the teams met on a neutral field. The previous time was at last year's Lone Star Conference Championships, in San Angelo, Texas.

The Eastern New Mexico University women's soccer team will return to action on Friday, to host University of Texas of the Permian Basin. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
